Calicut University First Roller Sports Championship was held in our college on 27/02/2020 and our college teams for men and women had won the title of Roller Sports Champions

Water for Birds Initiative

A Programme under the title " Water for Birds during Summer " was initiated by the NSS Unit of our college, in which, provision for drinking water to birds was ensured by way of hanging small water pots on the trees and bushes. NSS volunteers were given charge of filling the pots with water on daily basis. The Programme was co-ordinated by Smt. Hemalatha C, NSS Programme Officer.

Fifth Semester B Com C V Camp at GASCK

Fifth Sem B Com C V Camp for Palakkad Cluster was held at Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara from 26/02/2020 to 29/02/2020, under the Chairmanship of Smt. Amala A K, Associate Professor of Commerce. Around 130 teachers from colleges coming under the Palakkad Cluster turned up for valuation camp. 

Career Expo and Job Fest

A Career Expo and Mega Job Fest was conducted by the Kerala State Youth Commission on 29/02/2020, at the college premises, in association with the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of our college. Around 40+ companies were participated and 1000+ candidates turned up for interview.
The Programme was inaugurated by the Hon. Chairperson of KSYC Smt. Chintha Jerome and was attended by Smt. Amala A K, Principal, among other dignitaries .

College Girls Kabadi Team won the Palakkad District Junior Kabadi Championship

The Palakkad District Junior Kabadi Championship was held in the college on 31/01/2020. The event was inaugurated by the Hon Principal Smt. Amala A K.
Our college girls team won the Palakkad District Kabadi (Junior Girls) Championship.

Closing Ceremony of Bikeathon conducted by Excise Department

The closing ceremony of the Bikeathon conducted by the staff members of Kerala Excise Department, Chittur and Alathur circle,  for promoting awareness on the I'll effect of Drug Abuse and Alchoholic Addiction   was held in the college on 29/01/2020 at 2 pm . The bike rally started from the Vaniyampara ( the starting point of Alathur Excise Circle jurisdiction) and concluded at the Kozhinjampara ( the border point of Chittur Excise Circle).
The programme was graced by the presence and address of Dr. Seethalekshmi M P, Principal in Charge , NSS Programme Officer Smt. Hemalatha, Senior officials of Excise Department. Bike rally participants, NSS volunteers, college students, faculty members were present on the occassion.

Republic Day Celebration 2020

71 st Republic Day is celebrated by hoisting the National Flag by the Principal in Charge Sri. Chribuna Viswas at 9:30 am and gave away the RD message .
Faculty members, students, College Union office bearers , NSS volunteers, office staff were present on the occasion. The Programme was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Smt. Hemalatha C. Several programmes such as
Patriotic Dance, Patriotic Song, Speache by NSS volunteers were held.

Campus Placement Drive for UG Students

One Campus Recruitment Drive was conducted by Michael's  Academy of Communicative English, Nilgiri, in association with the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara, for the 2020 passing out batch UG students. The Drive was inaugurated by the Hon. Principal in Charge Sri. Chribuna Viswas in the presence the M D of the Michael' Academy .
27 students from BA , B Sc and B Com got placement and were given with the Offer Letter.

Life Mission Adhalath of Govt of Kerala

The Life Mission Programme of Govt of Kerala conducted an Adhalath for the Life Mission beneficiaries of Chittur Block on 18/01/2020 at the premises of Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara . The Programme was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister of Water Resources, Govt of Kerala Sri. K Krishnankutty .

Reunion of B Com 2011-2014 Batch

A Reunion of B Com old students of 2011-2014 batch held on 05/01/2020 at the Department of Commerce.
The programme was attended by the HOD and faculty members along with family members of old students

College Girls Team won the Beach Games Champion 2020

The Beach Games Championship for women organised by the Palakkad District Sports Council was won by our college team

Social Science Seminar for HSE and College Students

The one day social science seminar organised by the Career Development Centre of Chittur Employment Exchange and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of our college was held on 04/01/2020 at the college auditorium.
The programme was intended to create awareness on the opportunities available for social science students in the higher education and job market.
The Programme was officially inaugurated by Hon. Minister of Water Resources, Govt of  Kerala, Sri. K Krishnankutty.

Pongal Celebration 2020

The Pongal Festival for the year 2020 is being celebrated on the campus  with traditional fervou and gaiety on 13/01/2020.
It is also referred as Thai Pongal as it comes at the start of the month Thai in the Tamil Solar Calender. It corresponds to the Makara Sankranthi, the harvest festival celebrated throught India. The Pongal is mainly celebrated to convey appreciation to the Sun God for a successful harvest. It basically a four day festival consisting of BHOGI Pongal, SURYA Pongal, MATTU Pongal, and KANUM Pongal.
