Closing Ceremony of Bikeathon conducted by Excise Department
The closing ceremony of the Bikeathon conducted by the staff members of Kerala Excise Department, Chittur and Alathur circle, for promoting awareness on the I'll effect of Drug Abuse and Alchoholic Addiction was held in the college on 29/01/2020 at 2 pm . The bike rally started from the Vaniyampara ( the starting point of Alathur Excise Circle jurisdiction) and concluded at the Kozhinjampara ( the border point of Chittur Excise Circle).
The programme was graced by the presence and address of Dr. Seethalekshmi M P, Principal in Charge , NSS Programme Officer Smt. Hemalatha, Senior officials of Excise Department. Bike rally participants, NSS volunteers, college students, faculty members were present on the occassion.

Republic Day Celebration 2020
71 st Republic Day is celebrated by hoisting the National Flag by the Principal in Charge Sri. Chribuna Viswas at 9:30 am and gave away the RD message .
Faculty members, students, College Union office bearers , NSS volunteers, office staff were present on the occasion. The Programme was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Smt. Hemalatha C. Several programmes such as
Patriotic Dance, Patriotic Song, Speache by NSS volunteers were held.

Campus Placement Drive for UG Students
One Campus Recruitment Drive was conducted by Michael's Academy of Communicative English, Nilgiri, in association with the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara, for the 2020 passing out batch UG students. The Drive was inaugurated by the Hon. Principal in Charge Sri. Chribuna Viswas in the presence the M D of the Michael' Academy .
27 students from BA , B Sc and B Com got placement and were given with the Offer Letter.

Life Mission Adhalath of Govt of Kerala
The Life Mission Programme of Govt of Kerala conducted an Adhalath for the Life Mission beneficiaries of Chittur Block on 18/01/2020 at the premises of Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara . The Programme was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister of Water Resources, Govt of Kerala Sri. K Krishnankutty .

Social Science Seminar for HSE and College Students
The one day social science seminar organised by the Career Development Centre of Chittur Employment Exchange and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of our college was held on 04/01/2020 at the college auditorium.
The programme was intended to create awareness on the opportunities available for social science students in the higher education and job market.
The Programme was officially inaugurated by Hon. Minister of Water Resources, Govt of Kerala, Sri. K Krishnankutty.

Pongal Celebration 2020
The Pongal Festival for the year 2020 is being celebrated on the campus with traditional fervou and gaiety on 13/01/2020.
It is also referred as Thai Pongal as it comes at the start of the month Thai in the Tamil Solar Calender. It corresponds to the Makara Sankranthi, the harvest festival celebrated throught India. The Pongal is mainly celebrated to convey appreciation to the Sun God for a successful harvest. It basically a four day festival consisting of BHOGI Pongal, SURYA Pongal, MATTU Pongal, and KANUM Pongal.
Porgrammes in the college was organised under the guidance and supervision of Smt. Umamakheswari K,
HOD of Tamil Department.
